The Cocoa Pod began as an educational item in our chocolate shop in Quito, Ecuador. We use it frequently to explain to customers where chocolate comes from and how it is made. While on display tables at farmer's markets and Christmas Bazars people began to ask if they could buy them. And so began our story.

The Cocoa Pod is an extension of our original chocolate business, Gianduja Chocolate, that has been in operation now over four years. Because of our close contact here with cacao growers, we are able to obtain the pods and other items directly from the farm. If you do come to Quito, we offer chocolate classes and can help arrange visits to chocolate makers and cacao plantations in Ecuador.

We have now sold thousands of cocoa pods of all shapes and sizes to buyers in the US, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Japan and many other parts of the world. We continue to expand our business worldwide. Cocoa pods make an excellent high-value retail item for chocolate shops, a great educational tool for teachers, and a wonderful, distinct conversation piece as a decorative accessory.
